Alycia Claproth, MSW, is the Communications and Client Services Manager at the National Center to Reframe Aging, led by the Gerontological Society of America. She serves as the primary day-to-day point of contact with partners and manages communications for the National Center to Reframe Aging. Alycia oversees product development for outreach initiatives, conferences, social media campaigns, newsletters, and the National Center to Reframe Aging's website. Previously, Alycia served as Outreach Coordinator for the National Center on Elder Abuse at the USC Keck School of Medicine, where she advanced national awareness campaigns, co-authored resources with federal and nonprofit partners, and led the Reframing Elder Abuse project. She began her career as a Medical Social Worker at Kaiser Permanente, where she provided counseling, crisis intervention, and community resource coordination. Alycia holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Mount Saint Mary’s University, Los Angeles. She is trained in reframing aging and elder abuse, motivational interviewing, problem-solving therapy, and crisis intervention.
