Blake Harris

Director of Operations

Blake Harris is committed to building communities where all people can thrive at any age. As Director of Operations at the National Center to Reframe Aging, he directs the day-to-day operations of National Center programming, projects, and systems to support its mission to end ageism. Blake oversees the internal operations, financial management, and business processes that support the National Center. He leads the development and implementation of operational systems, performance metrics, and resource strategies that enable the National Center to carry out its mission to end ageism by advancing an equitable and complete story about aging in America. Before joining the National Center, Blake worked as the Program Manager for the Resource Centers for Minority Aging Research National Coordinating Center. In this role he developed expertise in communication, project management, strategic planning, leadership development, and data analysis. He played a key role in supporting a nation-wide research network which focused on mentorship and building a stronger scientific work force. He holds a degree in History from American University.
