Alycia Claproth is the Communications Manager of the National Center to Reframe Aging (NCRA), led by the The Gerontological Society of America on behalf of ten leading aging organizations. Alycia joins the NCRA from the National Center on Elder Abuse (NCEA), home of the sister project of reframing aging, the Reframing Elder Abuse Project. In addition to supporting the Reframing Elder Abuse Project, she managed all outreach efforts to successfully increase community engagement. Alycia has a background in clinical geriatric social work and holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Southern California. Alycia will be applying her unique skills to expand engagement with the aging research, education, and practice communities around learning and applying reframed communication strategies.
